The Windsor Heights Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our 2020 Citizen and Businesses of the year! Join us in celebrating them!
2020 Citizen of the Year - Joseph Jones
City Councilman Joseph Jones was recognized as our Citizen of the Year for his ongoing contributions to making Windsor Heights a place where people want to live, work, and play! Joseph has spearheaded the return of Movies in the Park, volunteering at the 4th of July Parade, and representing our city to the greater Des Moines community.
2020 Small Business of the Year - Koester Development
Koester Development has been an constant supporter and promoter of all things Windsor Heights. As a developer, he has brought a unique perspective to our Chamber Board of Directors, serving as President, Past President, and Affiliate Chair with the Greater Des Moines Partnership. President Jonathan Koester and his family are also proud to call Windsor Heights home.
2020 Business of the Year - The Ridgemont/Sherwood Forest Event Center
The friendly faces of the Ridgemont Bar have transformed the former Elks Lodge (Baker's Cafeteria for you old timers!) into a gorgeous event center, hosting events like weddings, the Fireman's Ball, and Chamber celebrations. The Ridgemont is no stranger to the community - for as long as anyone can remember, they've hosted a grill out on the 4th of July with all proceeds going to the Windsor Heights Police & Fire Departments, and hosted a fundraiser for the Parade!
Congratulations to Joseph, Koester Development, and The Ridgemont!
